Student life at CIS is intended to support academic progress, personal responsibility, Islamic character and constructive participation in the College community. Alongside formal study, students may take part in approved academic, spiritual, cultural and community activities that complement their learning and development.
CIS operates as a residential college, and all students reside in College accommodation as part of the academic and community experience. Accommodation is governed by applicable CIS residential rules and arrangements. Applicants should confirm their accommodation arrangements, applicable terms and charges with CIS before travelling to the College.
CIS supports students throughout their academic journey through academic guidance, orientation, student-affairs support and access to relevant institutional learning resources and facilities. Students are encouraged to contact the appropriate College office whenever academic, administrative or welfare assistance is required.
Student life at CIS combines academic study with opportunities for Islamic learning, personal development and community engagement. Activities may include Qur'anic and Islamic learning activities, academic seminars, student-led activities and community outreach organised or approved by the College.
