CIS Ghana Celebrates the 2025 Graduation – Rising Leaders and Scholars of the Ummah
The Centre for Islamic Studies (CIS) Ghana proudly celebrated the graduation of its 2025 class, a remarkable cohort of young scholars who have demonstrated discipline, commitment, and academic excellence throughout their journey. The ceremony brought together parents, teachers, community leaders, and invited scholars to honour the achievements of these rising leaders of the Ummah.
This year’s graduates exemplify what CIS Ghana stands for—strong Islamic identity, good character, academic competence, and a passion for service. Many students distinguished themselves in Qur’an memorisation, Arabic proficiency, leadership activities, and community service initiatives. Their accomplishments reflect years of hard work supported by dedicated teachers and a nurturing school environment.
The ceremony opened with a heartfelt Qur’an recitation, followed by speeches that highlighted the importance of Islamic education in shaping the future of communities. School leadership reminded students that graduation marks not an endpoint but the beginning of greater responsibilities. They encouraged graduates to continue seeking knowledge, uphold Islamic values, and strive to be role models wherever they go.
Parents expressed deep gratitude for the guidance and support CIS Ghana has provided over the years. Many shared inspiring stories of how their children transformed academically and spiritually, gaining confidence and discipline through the school’s approach to holistic education.
The highlight of the event was the awarding of certificates to the graduating class. Special recognitions were given to outstanding students in areas such as academic excellence, Qur’an recitation, character development, and leadership. The atmosphere was filled with joy as families celebrated their children’s achievements.
Teachers also received appreciation for their dedication, patience, and commitment to nurturing the next generation. Their role in shaping the graduates’ success stands as a testament to the school’s vision of building strong, knowledgeable, and responsible Muslims.
CIS Ghana extends heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2025. As these young scholars transition to the next phase of their journeys, the school prays that Allah grants them success, wisdom, and steadfastness upon the straight path. They leave CIS Ghana as ambassadors of knowledge and character—ready to inspire, lead, and contribute positively to their communities and the world.
